Originally from Kansas, harpist Jill Wiebe completed her bachelor's degree at the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York where she was awarded a full scholarship. Wiebe was also awarded a full scholarship at the Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music where she completed her master's studies while serving as the harp teaching assistant.

Wiebe has enjoyed a freelance career that has taken her around the world. She has performed across America with the likes of the Kentucky Symphony, the Ohio Light Opera, and recording artist Josh Grobin. Internationally, she has been featured center-stage in England's largest Christmas spectacular, has presented solo concerts on the luxury British ocean-liner Queen Mary 2, and has performed in an original show with alumni of London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Wiebe has been heard on national radio and has appeared on nationally released recordings. She has been resident harpist for the famed World Cruise on board the Queen Elizabeth 2, and has performed during numerous celebrity and high profile events that have been covered by national television programs including Entertainment Tonight, The Today Show, and 60 Minutes.

Wiebe currently lives in Tulsa and performs with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Ballet, and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. She is also Instructor of Harp at Wichita State University. In 2010 Wiebe formed the Appassionata Viola and Harp Duo with Tulsa Symphony Orchestra Principal Violist, Jeff Cowen. The provocative duo has caught the attention of Tulsa audiences and critics with surprising renditions of popular and rock tunes by artists such as Michael Jackson, The Fray, Bon Jovi and Coldplay.
